sorry to have to move the tournament, but Eagle Mountain will be closed all weekend is what I was just told.
So we will go back to Squaw Creek. For those already signed up, if you do not want to go, I will gladly refund your entry or move it to the next tournament.

Just curious how this works. When the lake is "closed" does that just mean the ramps? Can people with a boat already in the water at their dock or in a slip still go out?

I am waiting to hear from TRWD....I have a permit for Sunday, but if the lake is closed that won't do us any good....
Hopefully can make a decision before dinner time tonight...

I did talk to TRWD before 5pm and right now there will be no decision until tomorrow about opening or staying closed. I was told that if there was no rainfall tonight that they would likely open the lake by Saturday morning...more to come....

I want to remain hopeful, but I can't imagine Eagle Mountain opening this weekend. I was there a few hours ago scouting it out and the water was up a foot higher than yesterday.

Also, I just bought a little property on the lake with a dock where I will keep my boat. I see some of the tournaments are "trailering" events. Do I have to put my boat on a trailer and then put it back in the water?

we rarely trailer....that just gives folks an opportunity to use a different boat ramp in bad weather...we typically take off from host ramp in boat order number as you sign up
waiting to hear from TRWD this morning......I think it will be good news
