My wife informed me she was ready to get in on the action so we loaded up the "kids" and after a stop for gas, ice, drinks and snacks, we hit the creek.

I put my wife in my favorite cut bank and she immediately went to work while i shot some clips for a video I'm working on.




After i got some clips in the can i joined her and we caught fish till we thought our arms were going to fall off. I shot some video in the pool behind us in the picture and you can see a school of about 100 fish circling around in the shallow riffles. I don't know how many fish are along that cut bank but i figure we caught about 75 between the two of us in about four hours of easy fishing.




I managed to get a few big crappie out of a small brush pile out in the creek and put them on ice for dinner. We headed home, i cleaned and fried fish and French fries out in my shop while my wife cooked up a pot of baked beans with fresh bacon and homemade tartar sauce in the house.



Then we met up for a sunset dinner on the back patio.

Thanks for the replies! I've been fortunate to have back to back trips that will be in the forefront of my daydreams for a long time.




I'm still trying to get my Belize video finished up. That thing is killin me...




You know me, i have a six fish limit. If you had come over you would have had to clean your own fish.


FishyB decided the best way to keep your arm from falling off during the sand bass run is to work seven days a week.
