With the weather the way it is and the full moon next week. If you truly want a shot at a giant bass. Next week will be one of the best opportunities I think in a long time. With peak spawning activity five days before and after the full moon and the weather forecast still extremely favorable. I for one will not be chasing Sandbass next week LOL. Most of my fish this afternoon were in less than 5fow with two directly on beds in 2fow. Big chartreuse and white clouser with a willow leaf spinner blade tied to the bend of the hook deadly. If you are fishing water clear enough to see the fish strip it as fast as possible until directly on the fish and drop it and let it fall right on their head. There is always going to be one spot in the bed that is more of a sweet spot that they will not tolerate anything entering so move around different places in the bed until you find it. If the water is stained I focus at the base of flooded timber.

Big girl lol I love fat girls haha north central Texas with the temps right now I am pretty sure all of our North Texas in East Texas Lakes will be on fire this weekend and the first part of next week as well though. The Sandbass have been so good the last three years I have kind of not chased my favorite fish to go after during the peak time of year for big fish. With this early warm weather though going to be able to get several days chasing largemouth before the real peak of the Sandbass even though I have caught many already. Now till Thursday or Friday of next week should be great especially on protected coves in creeks on the north side of the lakes that are protected from any Northwind.
