 Not much luck with the trout

Friday I went to Katherine Rose Park in Mansfield to do some trout fishing. I thought they were being stocked Friday, but turns out I was a day late. Nobody was catching anything. I had my 3 wt and was the only person fly fishing after about an hour I got a fish on, but when I got him in it was this little fellow.  I figured if I was going to catch bass I might as well go somewhere where I could catch something a little bigger. I was using a #12 woolly bugger and I wound up with these.     The bass ranged from 11 - 13". On the 3 wt they put up a pretty good fight. So no trout but still a pretty fun day.

Good fish. I'd rather catch those bass than fake trout any day.
