It's a Permit, within the same genus but much more difficult to catch. They have incredibly good vision and IMHO are the most difficult inshore salt water species to catch.

Yup. El Pescador, not exactly Texas, but we can still hope for them here someday, somewhere over the horizon (think Oz). You do know, a bone or two is caught in Texas water almost every year? Hush ...
