Hello,

My wife and I will be in Grand Teton National Park for a few days next month. I plan to spend some time of the Rivers (Snake etc) but my wife really likes to hike. When laying out our hiking plans I would like to include some lakes that carry fish so I can fish along the trails.

Does anyone have any experience with the back-country lakes inside of The Park and which ones carry healthy populations of fish? Phelps Lake, Taggart Lake etc?

Thanks for nay info you can provide!

Can't offer any pertinent info on fishing the lakes (but there are some awesome streams, along with the Snake, in Teton and Yellowstone Parks), but be prepared to see some absolutely stunning scenery!

Jenny Lake, Lewis Lake, and the Slide Lakes hold fish. Jenny is a great hike for Snake River Cutts - and you can fish the creek along the way.

I know where you can get a lot of up to date pertinent info - go to http://www.fishexplorer.com/wy/ and sign up for the free membership. Then post your questions on the forum for the local fishermen to give you some help. Friendly bunch of folks up there.
