Spent last week in the Eastern Sierra's of California, where I learned to trout fish when I was I kid. When we were younger, my dad and grandpa would take us kids up to the Eastern side of the Sierras around 10 times a year, to chase trout and mule deer. Getting back up in those mountains brought back a lot of good memories. With the drought and rivers so low, I want able to fish the areas I used to. There is a trophy area I was wanting to fish, but with on 15 CFS flows, it want worth stressing the big fish in the summer heat. I decided to fish some smaller rivers where the flows were better, and the water was cooler. Here is one of the Browns I caught on the last day of the trip

Nice trip and photos. Really like the brown photo
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach
