I got to the river about 645 and I was catching a few small stripers and Bass about every 20 min. The only other group on the river was a big group of swimmers who had been splashing in playing were I really had wanted the fish. About 45 minutes before dark they packed out in a hurry I made my way up to the top and for the last 30 minutes of light it was a fish almost every cast and continued for some time into the dark. The darker it got the bigger the fish got in the small ones disappeared got into a bunch of really good fish for about an hour and a half. Chartreuse pink and white Clouser did the damage LOL. with no firework show anywhere around really kept the crowd down for a holiday

Yea Beautiful piece of river. The fish were just stacked up in the eddys waiting on baitfish to come down. You got a magnum Sandbass thrown in about every six fish. Also caught three more smallmouth in the mix.
