I've been wanting to hook up with some carp for a while now, but I really don't know where to go, what to look for or anything. I know how to fish for them and what to use, but I just don't know what kind of water to look for.

I'm up in N TX by Frisco/The Colony. I'm really looking for some locations that you guys are going to currently and having decent luck at. I've tried a few times, but I end up going out and being clueless on where to go.

I look forward to some info from you guys.

Thanks.

That's awesome. Do you know of any spots people are hitting now that the lakes are flooded? I wish I could've gone to Ray Roberts before all of the rain.

pretty much any north Texas lake that has somewhat clear water - look at google earth for flats it might be harder now with everything being flooded and get out and wade around and look for fish they tend to make a mud cloud, look for soft bottoms as hard bottoms don't tend to hold fish
