The Wife and I fished the Packery Channel Jetty in Corpus last weekend. she caught a couple nice keepers Sat/Sun. one 23 inch slot red and one 24 inch Drum. Both were release. both caught on cut mullet on the surf side of the south jetty near the end.
there were a few people catching. saw a couple of limits of slot reds on each day. But we saw more people than fish. it is crowded out there.
we are returning in a couple of weeks during the week days. I hope it won't be as crowded then. Until then, any fishing reports from there will be appreciated.
