Had the opportunity to get out and fish the high tidal coefficient last night. The water was moving so fast it displaced all the bait in the bay and the bite was on! Caught 25 keeper trout (CPR'ed all fish though) and 1 rat 19" red. The lights were where they were holding ambushing bait that floats by. Was using live shrimp but the live shrimp yesterday everywhere from bait shops were in the 2"-3" range and they didn't stay on the hook as long as Gulp so I used 3" Gulp Shrimp on a #8 treble under a popping cork under lights. Anywhere there were lights shining on the water the action was on. I switched to a 4" shrimp and they wouldn't hit it so I went back to 3" and they were killing it! "Match the hatch" I always say. God blessed me with another fine trip. Only took pictures of 15 of the trout. I was too lazy to pull out the camera for the last 10 trout I caught. Hit North Deer Island also but could not locate any takers.
