With some unforeseen circumstances, we didn't get to hunt this last morning of duck season. My customer's dog came down with something and had to be rushed to the vet, she has some good meds, and is doing much better now.

So as I hang up the decoys and reorganize my hunting gear, I can't stop thinking about what the rest of our winter and spring fishing will be like. There will be some cold days, and sometimes that makes it a little tougher to find a good bite. But, the cold days I have experienced in the past, might not bring many bites, but the ones it does are personal best. Then there will be golfing weather type days coming up. These make for a very aggressive bite, cause fish can be just like us. Sluggish on cold days, just laying around, then the sun pops out and it warms up. What do we do? We get out of the house and soak it up, we become active again.

Let's get out there and see what San Antonio Bay and the miles of marsh lakes has to offer. Check out my website www.nmsportsmansadventures.com for winter and spring discounts, and get down here and soak it up!
