6-11-15 The number of boats and fish have fallen off in the ship channel. Fished lighthouse this a.m. and kept 13 small "Texas" keeper trout. Water is muddy so you have to use the right lure and color (bright). Saw very few fish caught. Where we were is a very reliable spot because of position to reefs. Hopefully water will be good by sept. because Rayburn is choker block full and not generating because of the high level in the Neches river so the fresh water problem is going to be around for a while.
