Is there anyone out there who does custom pain jobs on cowlings? I want the cowling on my pontoon's outboard painted with a Texas flag.

Take the cowling to a custom bike shop. Or a good paint shop.

Wrap might be less expensive.

I think paint would hold up better in the sun. The boat stays in a covered dock, but the outboard still gets a lot of sun. I've had wraps and put them on a number of boats as a sponsor. IMO wraps are a good way to advertise a business for about 3 years, then they need to be redone. I want something to last 10 or more years.

Maybe look into getting it hydrodipped.

Check with Chris at Classic Fiberglass in Sanger. He should be able to paint any color ya want.

Possibly ask Tuff Skinz if they can make a custom cover using graphics? Possibly in trade out advertising for you both? Don't know how that part works but it may be possible to achieve. Just a thought.
