Looking at a couple different boats
wondering what the major differences are between the Alpha 211 and 21 LE?
also looking at alpha 199
I am noticing not very many of them have 250 motors on them? is there a reason for the 225 to be more common on the legends?

alpha is a better drier ride than the le hull
MOST 20 ft boats limit hp to 225.

I know the 199 is limited to a 225 but both the LE21 I have looked at have 225 also

from what i hear that extra 25 hp will only get you a few mph on topend. i bet a 225 with a worked prop is probably almost as good as having the 250 on back.

My LE 21 has a 225 Merc Opti. As previously stated and from what I have seen, just a minimal difference on top end speed with the extra 25 hp. I may be selling my LE21 in the next week or two. PM me if your interested.
