Is there any decent spots?

I'm gonna be in Nacogdoches this weekend, and if time allows I would like to take a detour to Toledo Bend before heading home to wet a line for a while.

Would prefer to keep it at the mid-southern end of the lake if possible. Texas side only though, don't wanna have to get a Louisiana fishing license.

I'd appreciate any advice! cheers

You could try at the carrice creek bridge. Park at the public ramp and walk down there. Then on both sides of the bridge at Pollygotch. You could also try around the bank at the ramps at Indian mounds.

If you are in Nac, Rayburn is closer, head over the 147 bridge and fish on the north end or Broaddus end. And on the right in the grass/pads and fish the bridge. You can head up to Jackson Hill for some good BBQ when you get hungry. The left side has a shallow sand bar fishing around it can be good too.
