Anyone have any info on Brady lake in Brady Tx? I had a chance to drive around the lake on Friday and it's some good looking water but I have never fished it and haven't been able To find any current info on it. Thanks in advance!

Used to be a good lake , Not so sure about recent condition, was an algae bloom with significant kill off in the last couple of years. Level is up to about 60% now.

I didn't notice a fish house, I was passing throw on my way back to junction and drove around the lake to see what it looked like. I saw 4 different ramps. 1 by the bridge where the creek runs in, 2 by the dam and 1 just up from the dam with a boat dock. It was full and was good looking water, lots of cover. Also I was looking real hard for a fish house.

I tried it Sunday two weeks ago. First time on the lake since the fish kill several years ago. Had to get the trailer tires off the end of the ramp to launch and load 20ft boat. The lake caught another foot of water since then so should not be a problem getting launched. Only caught 8 keeper channel cats and a few white bass on sure shot. Only saw one other boat during a nice morning. I don't know what the status of the fish house-just heard rumors that city may have obtained a grant to rebuild. The only ramp I would consider using is the one in the park. The two on the North shore are out of the water.
