Anyone stayed in cabins at PK state park? Anything negative about it and anything for kids to do there?

The cabins are pretty decent, come with everything but linens. There is a small park with swings and such for the small kids.If it is like most parks around here they are already full for the holiday weekends, TPWD just finished remodeling the Spanish Oaks part of the park and the rest will be finished by July 1st.
Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway
