anyone ever fish luce bayou on the north end of lake houston. looking for any advise on where to launch, what to look out for.

Ponderosa Ramp is right at Luce bayou.There is a guy on the Crappie forum that goes by SK. and he fishes Lake Houston quite frequently with much success!

Ponderosa is on Huffman/Cleveland road a mile off of 2100. $7 to launch. Bayou depth ranges from 22 ft to very shallow. Couple big cypress stumps in places you wouldn't expect. Tons of crappie fisherman fishing channel so weekends will be a slow go if you launch from Ponderosa. Bayou gets a ton of pressure but there are some bass in there. Good Luck.
