 lowrance carbon 16 and helix 12 does anyone have both ?

trying to decide what to get for my new boat. I have always been a lowrance guy. and like the carbon 16 but the price is crazy. I like the fact that humminbird helx 12 is a good price and has good pics on it. not a fan of the solix 15 have heard bad things about it so was wondering if anyone has both and could give me what they think about each unit. thanks steve
The gene pool could use a little chlorine.

I know. I wish humminbird made a helix 15. My eyes are getting bad with age lol
