Gonna stay June 9th and 10th. Probably been 10 years since the wife and I have been there. Is there a local bait shop that sells goldfish?

Bass is all I've really fished for there. Any tips on cats or whites?

There's a pretty good tackle shop on Highway 175 in Eustace called Tommy's Tackle Box. We were there several weeks ago for Crappie jigs and did notice they had several big vats of live bait. Since goldfish is such a popular bait at Purtis, they probably have them. Their phone number is
(903) 425-2277 if you want to check with them.

How was the Crappie bite?

This is one of three possible destinations for next Saturday's kayak fishing.

From what I've been told, if you have ever been able to catch a fish, you will catch fish at Purtis.

I'm usually a crank bait and maybe another pole using minnows or goldfish fisher. I want to work on my soft plastic fishing and figured this would be one Place to start.

Any suggestions?
