Don't know where the grasslands are, I put in at the yacht club ramp by the dam. I fish it occasionally, not as often as I would like. I think it's one of the nicest lakes in Texas. It's my own fault for not going more often, I'm only an hour from there. If anyone here fishes wor white bass or catfish there, I would like to hear from you. Maybe we can get together.

LBJ Grasslsnds is on the north end of Decatur (north west of Ft Worth)... It covers 4 medium sized lakes (40-60 acres), a hand full of smaller lakes (20-30 acres) and a couple hundred small ponds..... I fish there exclusively cause only have a little 12' Jon boat, and these lakes are the perfect size for it

Funny, I looked through my old posts and found my own thread about Cottonwood lake.... Been a while since I posted that.. I just fished there a few weeks ago, doesn't seem like it's gotten any better, but the weather was a little off that day

Didn't know thre was a body/bodies of water associated with LBJ other than Marble Falls/KIngsland. Learn something every day.

Does LBJ still have public ramps. Have not been there in several years.

They do now that the water level is up... Black Creek and Cottonwood have decent ramps... Clear Lake has a ramp, but there are big deep ruts in front of it.... I was just there today, lost one fish and that was all my action

Thank you I really liked fishing that lake. Would like to start going again. I will look up these two on my maps.

No prob.... Cottonwood use to be my favorite spot, until about 3 years ago when it flash flooded and caused a massive fish kill... I've been back twice since then and caught nothing...... I fish Clear Lake now, and i like it
