Anyone know where I can look to get a recent lake report on Lake Belton Wife and I have a Bass Tour there first of Oct and I have never been on lake been studying maps but will not get on lake till mid next week so if there is a place I can look for a report we would greatly appreciate it.

Don't know where you can find a report but if you throw a popper on points you will get bit. I would fish from rogers park to the dam.

Might have more luck with reports after Saturday, TTZ is having their 4th event of the season there Saturday and most will be tight lipped until after.

1/4 oz white rooster tails on points but also anywhere near shorelines. Look for places where the rock ledges stair step down. The fish hang out on various steps at various depths. Let lure fall to about 3/4 to bottom and retrieve. (figure out depth-1 second per foot drop) Cast parallel to shorelines not toward them except for points where you can run lure down sides of points or across them. You will lose a few lures but it's a recipe for success. I lived on the lake for about 5 years and never threw anything but roosters.
