I've always done pretty good fishing the rip-rap on the dam. Also if the reeds are in the water, flip them. I don't have a current report.

I was there a couple of weekends ago. Not sure if the water clarity has improved since then, if it has Ive always had success running a spinner bait parallel to the reeds. I also caught several by the bridge on a crankbait.

Poor old Lake Bonham. I don't know why anybody would want to fish there smile
Sunday morning catfish catching was like being on a school of sandbass.
I have never caught a ditch pickle out of that lake. I did mark a lot of bait balls of shad and a good many crappie in 12ft water.
I was raised north of Bonham and have a soft spot for that lake.

From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."

Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!
