I've fished Murray quite a bit and was wondering how Arbuckle fishes in the spring time. Planning on going the first weekend of April and wanted to know if anybody has any news or tips for that lake during spring. Also about ramp recommendations or any general info on the lake as far as baitfish and species. Anything helps!

That lake holds GIANT bass. It is good in the spring, but very tough in the summer.

Talked to a couple of friends that were there this week and they both said the lake is high and very muddy.

Would it be worth fishing? Don't want to waste a whole day if it won't be fishable

This time of year, you might catch a giant but murky water certainly makes it more challenging.
They both caught 2-3 fishing a half day.
Guess it depends on how far you're coming from.
