Wonder why the COE or perhaps BRA is releasing 1500+ cfs when the lakes is 0.2' above conservation level? They had been releasing a little over 500 but increased it. Only logical reason would be a downstream customer asked for the release. We had an unusually wet fall, but rainfall shut off during early Jan and is getting pretty dry. In Texas you are always potentially in the early stages of the next drought. Hope the releases don't ruin the fishing and boating again this summer but you never know.
