Grapevine city site says Katies Woods and Dove Loop are now open.
Anyone been out the last day or so with any word on the traffic volume. Thinkng about taking wife out early in the morning in order and get off by 11:00am. Should I be convinced to stay home.

I wouldn't be on any lake in Texas this weekend. Every idiot with a six-pack and Daddy's boat is going to be out there.

I was hoping for someone to convince me otherwise. I will do my yard work then grill some burgers, more peaceful.

I went sailing the evening of 9/3 at Scott's Landing. The ramp looked ok but rough. But the wrecked 28 foot sailboat on the edge is going to be a pain to work around.

Boat Ramps
gp1318-175.jpg
Grapevine Lake is home to multiple boat ramps.

Open Boat Ramps -
Katie's Woods standard and high water boat ramps, 1899 Katie's Woods Loop
Dove Loop boat ramp, 3000 Dove Loop Road
Meadowmere Boat Ramp, 3000 Meadowmere Lane
Sand Bass Point boat ramp, 399 Sand Bass

All other boat ramps remain closed until further notice.

Lake levels are still higher than normal pool so please continue to use caution. Have fun and always wear your life preservers!
