Hwy 377 Tioga closed.....

Got text and call, 377 north and south of Tioga closed due to Ray Roberts over the road......this is really getting old and no place for the water to go.

So the news just said they were going to ACTIVATE the spillway at Ray Roberts. Since when do you activate that type of spillway. It's a ditch for the high water to drain in when the lake level gets up high enough to overflow into it. Our news media sure has.....AW HECK, never mind.....

While awaiting confirmation, I think the rails are a bit higher than the road.

Not at this time, Although the water is high enough that you could not go under with a boat.

they would probably let out as much water as they possibly can to keep the railroad running They are. At 7482 cfs right now, the gates are wide open, the lake is still rising, and there's more rain likely tonight.

Spillway will see water over the weir in about 5 more inches.
