I am heading up to see the in laws on Cypress Springs for Memorial Day next weekend. I have been the past two years and the boater traffic is absurd considering hows small the lake is and the retaining walls around it. Is Sandlin as bad as Cypress? If not, I may go over there for a day or two and fish. Thanks.

Sandlin is not as bad with boat traffic as Cypress. In my opinion it is a better fishing lake than Cypress. Also don't forget Monticello. It has some nice fish in it and since it is now a cold water lake the fish will be in post spawn just like the other lakes and it has not had as much pressure.
