Posting for a friend. Military vet around NW Houston needs to know where to rip some lip. He has been going out throwing baits at gar in hopes of a fish. I recommended worms for catfish or bream to get started. Anyone know of a fun place he could go and get started now catching something. Currently boat less.

Thanks

There is a nice pond loaded with grass and pads off of SH 249 and Cypresswood Dr behind the YMCA.......have caught bass up to 9 lbs there........also has bream, cats, and gar......as a vet myself.....I know how it was starting out.....I have a boat, so maybe he would like to go out sometime!
