Okay so I have a ranger 208vx and with the recent rain it seems to have collected some water in the console. When I get the boat on plane the water drips out from under the console and sometimes drips a lot of water and I end up getting soaking wet l. Does anybody know where the water could be collecting?? I have looked and haven't found anything

Check speedometer connection. Water pressure speedometer had a small tube connection that sometimes got loose. Lindy

After removing the plastic line from the speedometer or water pressure gauge make sure to do the following: Use compressed air from the dash unit towards the rear and remove all water from the plastic line before lightening the connection. This will prevent it from having water in the gauge, freezing and damaging the gauge. Guess how I know?????
