What is the best bass fishing magazine? Looking for articles, lessons, and general learning. Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I find most magazines to be full of ads that are directed at selling the "latest, greatest" lures and equipment. If you are looking for instructional type information targeted at seasonal bass fishing and various lure techniques / presentation spend some time on YouTube.....

Search for Flukemaster, Tacticalbassin, etc and follow the links...

I have to warn you, it will be addictive.

"LakeForkGuy" "InformativeFisherman" and "Wired2Fish" are also some good YouTube channels with lots of good instructional bass fishing videos.

How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?

B.A.S.S., FLW and Bass West are a few that come to mind . Read ever thing you can find. On print or on line. Bass Resource is a good one on line that has decent articles.

You can try for TBF (Trailer Boat Fisherman) magazine. It is a good source of knowledge about current trends in fishing. You can easily get it online.

It's hard to beat online resources...
Since the Blu-Ray lets me watch You_tube on the big TV, I just type in whatever technique and have videos lined up to watch.

I wish they (somebody) would bring back a magazine like Honey Hole Magazine. That was the best I've ever seen. Looking for a good one myself!

Does anyone think a Texas-only bass magazine would sell?

Bassmaster I would stay away from. I (think I) finally got them to quit their antics. I signed up for a year subscription. A few months later I started getting calls from them with a hard sell on a five year subscription. The guys kept asking for my credit card number because it's the best value. I told one of them to send me the renewal in the mail so I could read it and think about it before I committed to five years. I decided not to subscribe for five years. Then I started getting letters saying they were disappointed that I wasn't honoring my commitment, which I ignored. Then I got one that said they were going to send me to collections because I agreed over the phone to a five year subscription, which I did not.

I emailed them outlining the whole thing and they said they would cancel the five year and mark my account as do not contact. Then, last month, we got a notice from the credit card company saying that they charged me a renewal for one year but the card had expired. I emailed them again asking what the deal was and, finally, after four days and two emails, got them to cancel that and say they would stop this stuff.

Not worth it to me and they are shady, as I saw in my scenario and from what I found online.
