They work as advertised but after a couple of cycles they need to be replaced.

Have you ever lost a fish because it was too heavy? or had any problems getting them to release when you wanted them to?

No I caught a 30 lb flat head on a crankbait with 12 lb smart links. I did loose a couple of baits but I think they were hung in the rocks not on the hooks.
