OK! I just got through spending an hour trying to clean the #*%%# moss out of my castnet. I caught bait at calaveras yesterday & pulled in a big gob of moss. Anyone know of an old trick on cleaning out the moss, besides just lots of time & manual labor ?

Never had that problem but....I used to clean my nets by hanging them from a tree limb, spreading them open by tying lines to the left and right and then tying those to something to hold the net spread that way.

Then I would take a water hose with a noozle on the end and wash them with that. Let it dry and then put it away til the next use.

With todays pressure washers, that process would be even easier, I think.

Hope this helps.....
