Anyone know how to measure tm shaft length. Base of motor to base of head? Needing to buy a new motor, but not sure of shaft length.

Base of motor to base of head will get close enough.

The last time I looked, both Motorguide and Minn-Kota had information on choosing the proper shaft length on their websites.
