Yea, we are thinking about putting a storage box up there. Haven't decided yet though. Something will go there eventually for sure.

Something to consider on the trailer. If you were to move the box forward to that open spot, you could put some rod tubes between the yaks. Two, side by side, leashed down to the decking. You could easily get 2-3 rods in each one.

Yep, we were thinking about that as well. We are going to experiment what different stuff and see what works best.

Seeing this late but just suggesting that you might turn the J-hooks around so that you load over the lower part of the hook. Looks nice though!
