Had 17 anglers fish tonight and Carl Griffin came in with a big sack of fish good for 18-5 and a big bass of 7-9! Second was garret and Justin with three fish for 13-4. We had 17 fish tagged and released tonight as well. Thanks to everyone who came out and see you all next week!!

Great job guys! The tag fish contest is slowly getting off the ground. We have a small prize list for now and hope to secure some bigger sponsors in the future. Just trying to promote Parks & Recreation through fishing, Lake Arlington, and of course, catch and release.

Haha it's not very often you can get 3 bites and win a tournament. I consider myself lucky but having pets does help lol!

How did it go? Was unable to make it out this week.

I just want to personally thank everyone that came out last night. As many of you know my dad is fighting terminal cancer and has between 3 and 6 months to live, soo him winning big bass literally mean't more to him than you guys will ever know. We don't ever know when his last tournament will be, but I can say that I wouldnt rather him fish with a better group off guys! Thanks to everyone who participated and even though Dalton and I don't seem to get along, at the end of the day it's still fishing baby and life ain't worth living without a green fish in the well! Lol! God bless and see most you on Thursday!

Will, Your brother cut off half our fish in the pictures... crazy boy! Lol! We had a 2.5 and a 3.5 haha!

Trent Newman and his Amelia took first place with 3 fish for 16-2. Garret and Justin came in Second with 13-10. Carl and his dad had big bass at 7-0. 12 entries total. Glad to see a more consistent turnout with the better weather. Thanks for coming out guys!

It was reported that a fisherman involved in the Thursday night Tournamnet with a White Nitro and a Yellow Stripe, was not as much of a sportsman as the guys on the thursday night tournament usually are. Bottom line, small lake, respect each others space. If your gonna reflect poorly on the sport, get a new sport.
