It's always impressive when a man can admit mistakes.

Bernie has been around along time, he may not be the winning-est angler at this point in his long career, however he has been a pioneer in the sport for decades now!

Yes, he has been around a long time. Far too long not to have known this before hand. But it's nice that he fell on the sword to hopefully educate the masses.

Do you suppose Ike will come clean on the 1000's a bass he's caught that now have "shaken bass" syndrome?

Lost all respect for the man after the way he treated co- anglers right before they went to using marshals

Now, if they could just cover "deck landing" the fish. After they've flopped around on the deck of the boat for awhile, I'm sure they're worse for the wear.

Like it said in the article, there is absolutely no evidence to prove or disprove this theory. I never hold a fish like that, especially a big one. But I am sick of all this liberal [censored]. I was hooked on mlf, but if they add one more stupid rule, im probably done with it! Fish cant even touch their sleeve. Come on! Show me some evidence and I will shut up. Sorry for the rant

Next time you are fishing, have your buddy use some large plumbing pliers to lip you and raise you for a photo. Make sure he raises you off of the ground with all the weight on your lower jaw. Let us know how this turns out. Take care, Rodney
