Hi Folks,

Has anybody ever bank fished from Cedar Breaks park on Lake Georgetown? I want to try it, but I am curious to see if its worth it. Also, if anyone knows anywhere semi close to the boat ramps on the lake I have a kayak that I could go out as well.

Thanks for the info!

I haven't catfished there yet I was also wondering this same idea. I have heard from coworkers that its a tricky lake to fish for bass. I also have a kayak, lately I have been hittingBrushy Creek Lake and Granger Lake for bass and crappie.

Without love of the land, conservation lacks meaning or purpose, for only in a deep and inherent feeling for the land can their be dedication in preserving it.

It can be a tough lake. Back up river is your best shot in the heavy timber. If you can find some shad or perch, use them as cut bait. I have caught some eaters from off the bank at the overlook near the timber. Granger can be good for eaters in the right conditions, especially during winter in the shallows. Saw several big blues come from LA off the banks this past winter.
