Wife will be gone for three weeks to go help her parents. So I'm going to let my little girl skip school to go on fishing trip. What's a good lake where she can catch numbers using minnows?

I'm sure this can relate to a lot of college guys on this site, but back when I was I college I skipped classes to go fish tournaments ( I would make sure I'm ok with classes before I left) and when my parents checked in with me I would say I had been to class that day when really I had been prefishing a tournament. Looking back I prob would have done much better in school, but those are the memories I will never forget

I would say you should be able to catch plenty of numbers out on cypress springs. Espically with minnows and I can't tell my story on this site.

I lived in Arizona in the late 90's. My children (2 daughters ages 6 and 8) had hardly ever seen snow. We saw some patchy snow on the side of Mt Lemon near Tucson. They wanted to play in it. I Went and bought one of those metal disk sliders. We proceeded to climb up and slide down a mountain side, with more rocks and cactus visible then snow. The worst part was that the hill ended in a cliff that went straight into the Road below. They had a blast!, Had a few close calls! Don't Tell Mom!

I'm willing to drive anywhere in tx so it doesn't matter where I live. I just want my daughter to catch fish.
