This is Cliff Hilbert, I wanted y'all to know that Dale passed away about 5:00 this morning after a brief illness. I don't know yet if there will be any type of memorial service, but I'll let you know when I find out.

Cliff, thanks for the sad message about Dale's passing. Many folks do not know how generous Dale was in sharing his knowledge, as well as flies and materials - many folks do know! RIP my friend. George

This is heartbreaking news. Big Dale was the cream of the crop. Everything George said, was right on point, and then some. He was extremely helpful to me, especially when I was new to tying. He mentored me. I still have a box of flies he sent me, that I won't use. I keep them and treasure them. I learned how to make a nice shiny streamer head from Dale's advise. He was always willing to help on here too. I am so sad to hear this news. RIP my friend.
