Weightless wacky rigged senko's have been hammering them for me personally. Havent even touched a Fluke which is normally my go to because the bite on the wacky worm has been that good!

Weightless wacky rigged senko's have been hammering them for me personally. Havent even touched a Fluke which is normally my go to because the bite on the wacky worm has been that good! I threw this for about 50% of my time on Ray Hubbard this past Saturday at the CCKF tourney and had zero bites. Was in a marina. After going through my 9 go-to baits, I ended up catching my only fish on a roadrunner of all things.  Sweet video BC! I never throw flukes really. Might have to change that.

Fun video, enjoyed that. Lake worth is literally in my back yard but I never fish it. Flukes are great! Basically, I always have a similar lure tied on. I fish them all year, winter, spring, summer, fall and catch fish. There are ways to rig them so you can use them besides spring.

Doesnt seem to matter if any cover is nearby although it never hurts. maybe you were trying too deep? Water temps where I fished all last week started off around 65 in the morning and warmed all the way up to about 72.5 in the late afternoon. So that may have had something to do with it! Also did really well on chatterbaits/spinnerbaits.

Also did really well on chatterbaits/spinnerbaits. Water tempers were 63 deg where I was, and yeah I was fishing more like 5' of water. But I mean the marina doesn't get to 1 feet deep haha. I was trapped in there because of 25mph winds. Never having fished the lake didn't help, but I was sure a wacky senko pitched near dock pilings would work. But if I had a dollar every time I "was sure" something would work...

Lol I hear ya man! It has been working best for me on shallow flats with a sandy/muddy bottom next to a deeper channel or creek. I cant blame you for wanting to stay out of the 25mph winds! I would have done the same thing.
