 3 days fishing in upper Laguna Madre

I've never fished so hard for 3 days with $hittier results.. fished Sunday 4/6 - through Tue 4/8 and caught a total of 3 undersized specks.
Anybody else have better luck?

Lots of pressure changes during that time if I recall (fronts moving around - at least around Galveston). Gives these guys lock jaw.
Beats the hell out of working. It happens.
If it makes you feel any better, I've been stuck in an office for that whole time...so like I said; it could be worse.

Usually the first day will tell you what ain't working. Eliminate until you start to find a few units. Sometimes it's exactly opposite what they are supposed to be doing, but they sometimes neglect to read the manual.

That's not good to hear. I was planning on heading that way early May. I hope it gets better, but that's what I experienced that past few times I fished that area. I just thought I was having bad luck.
What were you using?
