The Texas Striper Association's 4th tournament of the year will be on Lake Belton on Saturday April 26, 2014. The tournament will be hosted at Temple Lake Park. Registration will begin at 5:30am with Captain's meeting to follow at 6:00am. All captains and boats must be present at the captains meeting to discuss rules and boat inspections. Weigh-in will also be at Temple Lake Park at the Pavilion at 3:00pm. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me or call me at 682-556-4591.

We will also be having a Youth Angler Competition. This will be for any Youth Anglers 16 and under. Each of the Youth anglers will weigh their single biggest fish.

The reigning Lake Champion is Team Sharc Bait. They have won this tournament several times.

At the Lake Buchanan Tournament it was:

1st Place - Team Crawfish - Total Weight - 25.32 pounds
2nd Place - Team Piggy Perch - Total Weight - 23.16 pounds
3rd Place - Team Sharc Bait - Total Weight - 22.09 pounds

where is everybody. This is a pretty dead post this time.

I heard that there have been some super big Hybrids caught on the right after the right hand curve north of the flats.
7 and 8 lbs limits daily. we'll probably start pre fishing Monday

We will be there. Looking forward to it. Sure wish Cox Hollow cabins were still open. The negative about Belton is there is not any dang place to stay on the lake unless military or on of the Corp parks. We rented a screened shelter this year.

I think the cox's resort is open. Alan said he could sleep 50 at least.

It should be a good tournament. I am guessing there will be at least two boats "on the right after the right hand curve north of the flats." But I am just guessing. Need to break the string of wins Team Sharc Bait has on this lake!!

Time to pull a few feathers out of the hat for sure. Bustin Loose has been busted up the first 3 tournaments. Finally found the gremlin and ready to fish.

Team Family Style won't be upsetting team Sharc Bait this week end. Looks like Cap n Randy is guiding this weekend. I had to promise Connor he could run his own boat this week end so he would not be mad at me for not going to Belton.
The PK tournament is on. The PKCOC has verbally approved an additional $1000.00 added money to the TSA. George let's firm up a date ASAP. Here is a pic of a fatty from PK.

He has a truck in the yard, boat, and his boating license. He is working on his drivers license. Lol

I know one thing it is going to be crowded with the TTZ bass tournament. They are expecting 115-130 boats.
