First of all, I apologize for the delay in getting this posted. The Ray Hubbard Bass Club held our second tournament of the year on Lake Bob Sandlin on Saturday March 8th. A new record for a Club only tournament of 34 boats drove the 2 hours out to Sandlin to fish with us! Fishing remained tough for the most part, but not Winnsboro tough, and several teams caught em and some big girls were brought to the scales. George Dorman and James Henderson took the win with 5 fish for 21.02 pounds that included a 9.25 beast that was only good for second place big bass. Here are full results and pictures on the day.

Robert Oleson and Brandon Amos fished together. They only brought one to the scales, but she weighed 5.18!

Kenny and Howard Bunch weighed 2 for 7.82.



Russel Olds and Matt Jackson weighed 2 for 8.43. It was also their first tournament as TD's and they did a great job!

Eric and Evan Vidal finished fifth with 4 for 10.15. Here's Evan with two of their fish.



Dale Rettman and Jeff Garrett finished fourth with 4 for 13.81. Their bag included this 9.75 monster that took home big bass honors for the day.



Travis Reaves and Jason Hunnicutt finished third with 5 for 13.98.



Ronnie Manning fishing with Steve Stroman finished second with 5 for 20.51. Awesome day.



George Dorman and James Henderson won with 5 for 21.02 that included this 9.25 beast.



Thanks to everyone that came out and there were a bunch! Our next Club tournament will be on Saturday April 12th at Lake Ray Roberts. We will be launching from the Jordan Park ramp. Hope to see you there!

Tom failed to mention that Dale started the day stripping to his underwear and jumping in the 53 degree water to put a plug back in. Big bass was karma for that early morning wake up.

I know I can be a PIA, but thanks to you guys for all yall do. I enjoy the short time I do get to fish, and it's usually with yall. Can't wait to get into a set schedule where I can relax and enjoy it a little more. I have found a partner to fish the rest of the year with, and he's gonna bring the heat while I net his fish!!

I did a heck of a job netting Herman's fish that day. I plan to do that a bunch this year while catching the occasional dink...
