that wouldn't have anything to do with a upcoming tournament, would it?

I will be happy to give a report hopefully one full of fish! I may or may not fish the tourney, if I do it will be my first. I really just want a successful weekend hopefully this week did not turn them off too much with the cold weather.

I'm hoping Tom has been sacking them there for weeks and is just waiting to post them on Kayak Wars until after the Purtis Creek tournament. rolfmao

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

If you're camping, beware of the raccoons, they run in packs and steal, eat, or tear up anything they can eat. Don't leave
anything in your tent. If you leave your cooler outside you almost need a chain and lock, but I think they can pick locks.

HAHA - This is so true! I was trying to be smart and put all of the food in the truck before going to sleep in the tent... I forgot to roll up the small sliding window in the back windshield! Woke up to find every bit of food gone. There were crumbs all over the truck and little racoon tracks on my seats and armrest!

The only food left was what I had put in the cooler inside the truck as the lid was too heavy for them to open.

So true. They stole some bread off a table literally a foot away from us when I camped there with TexanClay. They are not shy and they are definitely smarter than us.

I swear there was four raccoons driving the parks golf cart around at night
throwing out empty chip bags and beer cans.
