I knew it would happen. It happens every year. I try and watch the weather and plan my vacation around the perfect spring week. Well I am scheduled to be off next week and even have a guided trip with Eddie on Thursday. The day after I put it on the calendar the forecast went to carp!
I am a jinx and I apologize to the rest of you hard working bass fishermen for bringing this on you! Next year I'll just stay at work so all of you can enjoy! Lol have a good day.

Not just you. Ever heard of "The Fouz Factor"? i've seen it happen! I just hope Fouz never signs up for an offshore trip with us! we wont ever get outta the dock!  (not really, wish you would go on one with us!)

Blake, I am here to tell you, you are by no means a jinx. Bigfishtx will tell you this is when you catch the big ones...cold...spring....nasty weather...big old fat ones. Get a coat and some water proof gloves and dry wool socks and go get them.

I wish California would hire me to fix their drought problem. All I would have to do is schedule a fishing trip in the area and it would come a rain of bibical poportions and fill their lakes up!

Well thought I was gona spend last week at the lake house on amistad during all that pretty weather but came down with absest wisdom tooth and had it cut out.think I know now what a bass feels when you set a 5/0 hook in his jaw. They ain't biting down there anyway but I still got a bad attitude from it.

Don't feel bad...at least you didn't spend last week in fantastic weather fishing Falcon Lake and only average 2 fish a day like I did. I even talked with a guy from Tennessee that hired a guide for three days that only caught two per day, and one of the days was on Sugar Lake!
