Well, I just now found the reviews for this website online and it looks bad. I guess you got lucky with your order. Apparently from what Im reading, their products are all refurbish. If the item you bought works then its great. But if it doesn't, looks like it will be a pain to try to get a refund. Alot of what Ive read is that they will try to find reasons not to refund you even after they agree for you to send the item back with a 15% restocking fee and return shipping out of your pocket. And still wont get a refund.

Hmm...You guys are tempting me to just go ahead and do it. Its weird with the reviews Ive found. One site has everyone give 5 stars straight across and another site has everyone giving them 1 star rating. I wonder if the reviews were fabricated on those websites. Its hard to believe anything on the internet.

Didn't see any reason to. Bass Pro had the same price for the model I was looking for. Any big name retailer will be easier to work with than a online only store.

The "factory outlet store" isn't.
It is no more a factory outlet for sonar units than Walmart is an factory outlet for Sony TV's.

It is not refub. Bought my 998 from them no problem.

I am interested in the Lowrance Mark 4 HDI/Chartplotter but Bass Pro have it on backorder with no date on its availability. They have it for $229,but this factoryoutletstore.com has them in stock. But they have it listed 4 times with 4 different prices. Ranging from $179 to $229 with one of them being on national backorder (the $199 one), but they show that they have the other 3 in stock. I compared the features and specs on all 4 and they are all the same except for one. That one doesnt have the 50/200 frequency while the other 3 has it along with the 83/200 and 455/800. Other than that, I am not sure why the price difference beside the different product numbers.

Does David at shut up and fish have a website I can check out?
