I know I'll be out there walking the banks. The only thing that will keep me from fishing this weekend will be the wind. What will you be throwing at these ice cubes; color too? I have sworn off winter fishing as I seem to just donate lead to already too polluted waters.

If it were me I'd be oing in the afternoon after the sun has had time to warm the water up a bit. Start throwing a squarebill around in the rock and see if anything has moved shallow. If that didnt work Id be throwing a jig out as deep as I can get it and working it slow. Colors would depend on water clairty and clouds/blue sky.

Meet a good guy out there though. Everybody is waiting for the lake to turn on.

I saw a lot of rocks that I haven't seen in a long time today. The water level is down out there and very cold.
Didn't get to stay long after wife called and said our son was driving without his license and insurance card today and didn't have his wallet. I had to take it to him. Argh!!!

There's a good bite out there but you have to fish super slow and in afternoons. Wind is my friend

Fish fast fish slow no bite..OOO well it will turn on one day...This dang weather....Met Rick from brassgrabbers same report..Maybe next weekend I get a bite...lol

Has anyone put a boat in the middle of fhe lake and gone for deeper bass? I see boats come to the bank, but there has to be some nice structure in the middle holding some nice size bass.
