Well it is too wet to do some leaf clean-ups so I have been browsing. It seems every trip to the LMF, fly or spinning, that I have several of those trout hit my indicators. In another thread post I even said I thought about putting a hook on my orange indicator. Well I think I found something I am going to have to order Griffins Stimicator. I am thinking the larger size in both colors. Might be a waste of money but I just have to have a couple LOL

Far be it from me to dissuade another angler from getting more stuff smile
But have a look at this Google for attaching a strike indicator and you might possibly find inspiration for how to attach a hook in the mix fairly simply.

Tight Lines!

Trust me, I have room for plenty of stuff LOL. Right now for Fly Fishing I have a $130 Cabellas combo that was on sale for $70 that came with floating line that sinks. For the Flies I pretty much have what you see in my hand. I have 2 of the brown wooly buggers, 3 or 4 of Carey's neer deers, couple of pink worms, 1 of Carey's micro eggs, several of the bead head "lighting bugs" [think that was what they were called] in size 16&14 that were on clearance at Cabellas for .85 and a few of the bead headed worms in tan, orange and one red that I bought at the BB fly shop.

Pretty pitiful, I know.

PM your address to me. I need to thin the herd!

When I first started fly fishing, Pearow would send me a package of flies every so often. Some of them were so ugly, I think the fish would eat them just so they wouldn't have to look at them!

There was one pattern he called the "Blind Date". I've forgotten the story behind naming of that fly, but most of us have been there... Did I mention that some of those flies were UGGGly??

I believe that some of those were tied by some of his relatives at a family reunion in De Queen AR. Alcohol may have been involved.
